Board is quiet Whats everyone doing this cold day?

Ok this is way off topic but a year ago I would never have done this. We have torn all the carpet out of our living room, painted and today we are putting down pergo flooring. Next week I am getting a new couch. Flexsteele, will last forever, so I hope. I was so tired all the time before wls my house work didn't get done. If there was a spill I throw a towel over it and step on it. I have changed I can't live that way so its cleaning time big time. Hope everyone is having a good day. My house will be beautiful for the holidays. Also if we decide to move it will be almost ready Jane

Jane, I remember a day when we were younger, and mom laughed at you because you were able to pick up ANYTHING with your toes....You don't do that anymore...I am so proud of you...I can't wait till my weight is down enough that I can do things that I can't do now...You are such and inspiration to me...Thank You....I love you...sooooooooooo much... I still pick up stuff with my toes. I can pick up a dime. That is lazy now. I am very proud of you too. I just know everyone is going to get smaller than me or not have lose skin but that is ok. If I wouldn't have done this I wonder if you guys would have. I am just happy I did it first. I hate to wait. Jane

Actually yes I still would have done it.... And i just realized i dont pick up stuff with my toes anymore.... lmao how cheesy is that. Also Jane... I have the skin also.... We went to joels parents house today and Stan was like hey sarah stand up and turn around... so i did and he's like girl you are doing great... so i lifted my shirt... he goes... oh **** are you gonna get that taken care of? He needs to just shut up most of the time but you know i have the extra skin.....and you know I hate it but I'd rather have the skin than the fat.

Hey and rember the skin is magical. Just start pulling it out of your jeans for the inlaws and do a hop and let it all fall back in. I love the shock value on that one. Everyones face is amazing. I have been curled up watching a movie on Lifetime. Before I gained so much weight I kept my house so clean. Now I about panic if someone comes to my door, I hope I can get with it and get every thing all cleaned before thanksgiving. I cant move the furniture because of my hernia, so that holds me back a lot. I think if a room is cleaned you have to move out the furniture and dig out every nook and cranny. I will be happy to just get everything back in order and dusting done. I guess your house looks great.

No my house looks like a bomb went off. I was never a house keeper. My house only got cleaned at the holidays. I grew up that way. My mom worked and every Saturday was cleaning day. There were 4 kids and we fought the entire day. Then my mom started working on Sat. Dad would get up and start the cleaning. I remember laying in bed and pretending I was asleep. When the sweeper came on it was all clear to get up. He was done. He could clean faster than anyone. We were so bad. I remember my dad asking my mom if she was ready to have a Tupperware party soon because that meant the house was going to get cleaned. I am with you on the panic if someone stops by. I have been known not to answer the door. Shame on me. Jane

Ha ha Jane I am so the same way with my house. I don't really like people comming over. My husband askes all the time if I am going to throw any kind of get togethers since I clean like a mad woman then. He has even tried the "hey pretend there is going to be a party". lol I am hoping that once I get totally better and straightened out that I will do better. Maybe.........lol

It will you wait and see. Everything about us changes almost. Especially how we fell about our selves. I am fixed up almost all the time now. I love to go out and run into people I haven't seen. Jane

Hmmm I know a cute little house just up the street from me. GO LOOK AT IT!!!!! Ok...this is going to sound crazy. Who cares who is smaller than who? Its not a race. We should really try not to compare ourselves. I know, that is easier said than done since a month ago I was whining that I was going to be the biggest in the family. The important thing is that we are all going to be healthier and happier and smaller. As far as the skin goes, I am quite sure that we will ALL have skin issues. I already do, after having 4 kids and breastfeeding 3 of them. The girls will be heading even farther south, if that is possible. So, I will definately want PS. I just won't be able to get it paid for by insurance. Ugh!! Just for the record, I have wanted PS even longer than WLS. I want Lipo in many places, Tummy tuck & a breast lift. If the weight loss effects my face/neck then I will want that lifted or sucked too. I know, I am the vain one. To answer your question about "if we would have done this if you hadn't" My answer is probably not...I would have looked into the PS above though. You know that..I was doing that already.
