Ok...I am 3 weeks post op...I went back to work yesterday...Mid way through my shift I started having a lot a back pain, and pain over my lsft side incision... I am so tired, I can hardly move today...and still have this pain in my back... I'm not sure if I just went back too soon...or if something is wrong...I don't feel sick, or feel bad in any other way....Any thought on this issue would be appreciated... Amy

Take a hot shower, use some heat and see what happens. Don't mess around. Call and ask tomorrow. You know they don't care. Jane

I'm always exhausted. Don't really have an excuse like surgery. Just lazy and tired. Oh yeah...that pesky sleep apnea doesn't help Go to bed..that should help

I still get really tired doing things like volunteering at my son's school. I do like the others ahve said and take a hot shower and rest as soon as I can. Plus my heating pad is my best friend at the moment as well when I am having a down day as I like to call them. lol I generally feel better in the morning. I know you can do it cause I am the biggest baby and if I can anyone can.

Are you feeling better Amy? I was having a few days of ickyness, but it's gotten a lot better now. Sometimes I get these spasms in my back, but I think it has something to do with me being more active. I agree with Michelle that the heating pad is the best friend to have around. Maybe you could take it to work with you, if by chance you need it while you're there. And like Jane wrote, I'm sure they'll understand if you need to take time off. I'm thinking of you hon and sending positive healing vibes your way-- Dee
