Tummy Tuck Recovery

Hello, I'm hoping to get an answer on this one...I am 2 weeks out from a tummy tuck and upper arm lift and still have about 18 pounds of fluid retention. It just doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I can not fit into any of my slacks and my thighs are huge. Any ideas on what I could do? I am getting lots of rest and drinking water. Should I be doing something different? I am healing well and have had very little pain and wear the binders 24 hours a day. My arms and belly look great, but my legs are awful. Other than my WLS, the cosmetics are the best thing I have ever done...it feels fabulous to have all that skin gone! Thanks!

Drink lots of water, and you might want to start taking short walks again. But, talk to your doctor first. It's not good to be just sitting around. I was up and moving after about 4 days after surgery. I hope you feel better soon. Hugs Sharee
