im still hanging

hey to all,im still hangin out at st.joe.......imwaiting on Dr.Neighbert,he has been in surgery all day, i have been stuck 1 times and 5 blown veins,they said its hard to get iv to stay when your dehydrated,,but im no nurse lol........im on morphine and fluids so keep praying that i get home.......vickie

Ok... the personal /professional standpoint... Hon, its gotta get better..... and just for reference you can refuse to have someone draw your blood or start an IV.. also you can have them poke your finger for several blood tests... not all but just the basics. If they have fluids going into you then you should have some veins. I wouldnt let any one person stick you more than twice at most... then they can get someone else to try.... my thought is... if they cant get it in 2 sticks then they wont get it the third or more. Anyway I hope you get to feeling better and ty for the updates!
