A little over a week ago I made a post about my friend and fellow OH member Donna Hanvey and her husband Brian. They both had wls back in March and have been doing great. They bought a motorcycle back in Aug or early Sept and on Sept 29, 06 Brian was riding it to work and a lady ran a redlight and hit him. He has numerous broken bones, had a torn aorta, shoulder out of place, broken pelvis, numerous other things and was just lucky to be alive. I just spoke with Donna a few mins ago and Brian just went thru hopefully his last bed sore surgery. After 5 days or so they're moving him from Vanderbuilt to another hospital for a month or so and then back to Vanderbuilt to start his rehab. They're telling Donna that there is no possible way he can walk again because this is one of the worst spinal cord injuries they've seen. Donna is preparing herself for that but she also believes like I do if its God's Will Brian will walk again. God can do anything. I just wanted to update u all. She misses being on OH and needs all of our support. I will post a link again to her surgery support page for those of u who missed it the first time. Hugs and thanks Angela http://obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/members/status.php?N=H1135021185
