incisions after lap gbp

i just had my surgery on wednesday and besides the incisions hurting like crazy, i am noticing that beside my 2 lower incisions on my right and left sides, there is a red puffy vertical line beside each one and it seems to get bigger each day AND it itches like crazy! my mom says it looks like some kind of blisters but i just have no idea. does anyone know what i'm talking about or what i can do about it?
