Show some support!!

Tomorrow is Brenda's surgery.. She has been so supportive for all of us and now its time to show her some support from her OH family!

You know I am here Ms. Brenda if you are reading this. I lit a candle for you at Church. Catholic thing. I know you will do fine. I am so jealous but you have waited much longer and what a success you are for all of us to admire. Our biggest fear is regaining and you are 3 years out and you seem to treat the tool as if it were brand new. Thanks again for all you have done for our family. You have been at the hospital for everyone of us. Tomorrow we will be with you in prayers and thoughts. Please let us know. We love you Jane

ahhhh thanks everyone...that is so sweet, I am a bit anxious about all this but very confident as I know Dr. Martin is awesome..he is so funny. He told me two times that he will not believe he is operating on me until I am asleep on the table..LOL this weekend went by so fast, I stayed home today to get my house ready for some time off. I cleaned, did laundry, ironed and even changed around some of my plates inthe cabinets bringing my holiday dishes in... yesterday I spent the morning at a craft fair, my husband went with me..now that was funny him at a craft fair..lol..but he was a trooper and even bought me the cutest little snowman...in the afternoon me and my daughter were invited by Mrs. Doc Tom to a party at their house..Taryn and even Beth and her baby were there, what a cutie.. I got to see the doc for a few minutes near the end..bless his heart he was exhausted as he had been at the hospital all day...the man just never stops! then last night we went to dinner to celebrate my birthday which happens to also be tomorrow... thank goodness I had a busy Sat. or I think I would have gone crazy!! I can't wait till it's over and I have all this extra stuff off me..I dread the down time more than anything, so you guys will have to call me and keep me company when I am feeling better.. my friend called me Friday to wish me luck, she said here is my advice.. TAKE THE DRUGS!!! LOL I think I will follow that advice. Thanks again my friends...it was my honor to be at the hospital with you guys.. see ya soon Brenda

Wishing you lots of luck tomorrow. I know you will be just fine. Just think, you will have a flat tummy in just a few more hours. That is so exciting!! Get on and let us know how you are doing when you are feeling better.

Brenda, You are such an inspiration for me...And the rest of my family...And what a great birthday present...Happy birthday....I am sure you will do just fine...There are a lot of people sending up prayers for you...Let us know what we can do for you... Love You Amy

Thank you, thank you..getting ready for the hospital now. I am a little nervous but excited as well. I looked in my closet this AM..my undie drawer and at my coats thinking I won't be able to wear any of this later.......I have total confidence in Dr. Martin so I am not at all worried about the surgery itself..it's the down time and painful healing ..I don't like being held down, so by the end of this week I am not going to be a happy camper..lol Thanks for the well wishes and Birthday wishes..what a Birthday present...I will tell Dr. Martin you are all waiting to see how well I do before you have surgery, that way he will make sure I have little pain and the job is perfect!!
