Dr Argotte

hi all, i will be having surgery in two weeks, this is not GBS related but because Dr. Argotte has done quite a lot for me and knows insides better then anyone else, I asked him if he could help. I have a large cyst in my pelvis and it has come and gone over the years. I explained to the doctor that this may have been the cause all along for my bladder and bowels problems.. he sent me to the OBGYN also and she is going to do surgery at the same time. so i wll have two differnt surgeries the same day. a hysterectomy from the obgyn then when she is done, Dr. Argotte will go after the cyst and find out the cause... I have my appointment with him tomorrow and have a long list of questions....I feel very lucky to have found this doctor... I have had some problems with his nursing staff in the past but he hopefully has fixed that problem. I am actually looking forward to this surgery, I think i will be in the hospital a few days and may feel just as bad after i wake up as i did with the GBS. wish me luck Donna

Hi Beth, good luck on your surgery, I am having surgery the day after you to have a hernia fixed... as soon as you can, get up and walk walk walk. it will hurt at first but it REALLY does help you heal faster, just dont over do it. Donna
