Open Enrollment is here!
My employer's open enrollment has come around and I've switched from Humana HMO to UHC's Health Flex. According to their information, Obesity surgery is not covered ***unless*** in cases of morbid obsesity.
I've got that covered.
I have scheduled my appointment with Dr Sonnanstine for my final check up (I've already been through the program, met with the psych and nutrition eval) so this is to make sure I'm ready to go. Then I'll have a date, hopefully the end of January!
I wi**** was tomorrow, I feel like I've been waiting for so long.
Technically the new insurance doesn't go into effect until 1/1/07 and my appointment is 1/2/07.

Katrina I am planning on getting an appointment to rehash things in January also, but due to the amount of volume we will be experiencing in the section I am in, I was wanting to schedule my surgery for March 8.
Eventhough I want to get this over with, I would feel guilty leaving my work partner to do all the work and experience all the headache. We are two people left to fix all the screwups for over thirty machines. I am not trying to knock you on your decision I just wish I worked in a group where I had that option also. Shoot I'm actually jealous. If you want give me a yell if you need anything, you've got my number. You too Brenda. OH yeah by the way I switched over to Healthflex the night before last. Did you do anything with the taxsaver account or the high deductible option?
