Oprah show yesterday

Did any one watch Oprah yesterday? I was very disapointed in it. She had on people who had WLS. It was very negitive.

Hi Amy, I just posted on another message board about that show, It's rare I watch anything like that because I just get MAD!!! I prefer to turn to the professionals for my information and not listen to the opinions of people who are ignorant about this surgery. I know what I did was for my health and emotional well being. so who cares what Oprah thinks!!! to bad we have people who are so closed minded especially someone who has struggled with her weight...as someone said on the other board..if I could have afforded a chef, personal trainers and therapy maybe I could have done it too!! who knows?!?!? but this is just one womans opinion..

Brenda I agree totally...And if you watch her enough...she still struggles with her weight...She may not get as big as she once was...but her weight still fluctuates...People unfortunately put too much enphasis on what people like her have to say, and unfortunately people who may want to seek information about our wonderful tool my be reluctant to do so because of her, which is only puting their health in jeopardy... Ok I am off my soap box now.... On a lighter note...I am down 12 pounds in 1 week...Woo Hoo.... Amy

congrats on the weight loss Amy, I wanted to call you tonight but ended up in Dayton, Ohio with my daughter. She had a meeting with the photographer, we got her wedding pics tonight they are sooooo pretty. I am going to be off for 4 weeks, so every client I have is coming at me with stupid stuff they want done. I am swamped with work and I have all these meetings set up this week...I thought I was going to be sent to Florida next week but they didn't need me after all..bummer! it's just as well I have to get ready for the next Monday.. talk to you soon Brenda

That is how I feel if I could afford all the things like Oprah I might have lost weight without the surgery. Amy that is a great loss.

Thanks Amy It is actually More like 10 days...But I am proud...Feeling pretty good.... Oprah really makes me mad Amy
