He was leaving it up to her...I havent heard yet if she went home or not...But will let you know when I know... BTW...the home visit nurse came by today to do my dressing change...OMG...it hurts so bad when they do that...But my fever is down, and feel a little better... Amy

I will be really jealous if she gets to stay, he didn't keep me!!!! NOT FAIR, he must not like me..lol ewwww on the dressing change, glad you are doing better though. I am so swamped with work and getting very anxious about everything..whether or not I can have my work done and everything in place, if my house is together, if I have everything I need..how long I will be off work and if I will be a big baby and whine..lol... not long now! Just talked to Jane. She is staying overnight. He did more than just remove her gallbladder. She had some excess scar tissue that he had to take care of that was messing with her intestine. She was feeling a bit sore but doing well otherwise. Don't be jealous Brenda. I'm sure you are his favorite. ;)

I was with Dr. Sonnanstine tonight...We had a dinner meeting on B&B Riverboats...I sat down next to him..told him I posted on the board that I was upset over the attention he gave Jane over me..He said..OOOO, come on Brenda.....I said- yea I am jealous you didn't give me that much attention you sent me HOME!!!!! he of course thinks I am nutz and just laughed..Taryn cracked up!

Brenda, If you are talking about your tt surgery. You'll be back to work in a week!! You're a tough girl too. It isn't bad at all!! I guess it will depend on when you can drive again. But, I felt really good after two weeks!!! So, if all goes well, it shouldn't be longer than that, IF you want to go back that soon.

Hi Sarah...my surgeon told me I had to be good for 4 weeks...he only told me that because he knows I would go back to work the next week if i felt like it...but I need some time off to rest and I am working on another project right now with a fitness center over here in my area..I am so excited about it, we are starting a program for bariatric patients, a time set aside in a class room with a personal trainer. It's going to be very cool..I will also be doing some support classes along with that. Today Dr. Sonnanstine and I are going to a meeting where he will talk to the personal trainers at the facility..it's going to be soooo cool..hopefully we will have it up and running at the first of the year. I am going to not just talk the talk, but walk the walk...after the doc releases me to work out the personal trainer is going to get me up to a full work out...it's going to be brutal but I figure if I am going through this surgery I may was well work on the rest of the body..lo

Hey ms. Brenda. I am home and he is a wonderful man. He beat us to the hospital. I was in so much pain. Rick called the hospital and they paged him. He called back right a way and told me to go to the hospital to be admitted. I spent the entire night before in er. I got home today and feeling pretty God. He did more than the gb, just minor stuff but I stayed overnight. Jane

so glad to hear it Jane, even though I am a bit jealous you got more attention than I did.. wait till I see him tomorrow night at our meeting..I am so going to put the guilt trip on him..LOL

I hope Jane is at home and on the mend soon!
