I've got my surgery date!!

WOO-HOOO! I'm so excited! My lap RNY is scheduled for Nov. 27. After all the pre-op stuff I had to do, I was beginning to think it would never happen!

congrats on your date i had my lap rny oct 19 thi had yo stay an extra day but thats ok i came home a lil sore but doin ok you just have to take one day @ a time

Thanks so much for the encouragement! I'm already getting nervous. I can't imagine what I'll be like in a few weeks if I'm already a wreck!

You will do great Chris, ....you have an awesome surgeon. Will you be in his class next Monday evening?

Thanks everybody! Brenda - I've already completed the four group meetings. I've just been waiting to get all the pre-op tests done, get the results and get approval from insurance. Everything is finally all falling into place. For a while there, with all the appointments I had for the pre-op tests, etc....I didn't think I'd EVER get to this point!

that's great Chris...if I can be of any help with support let me know.. just to remind everyone I am having my plastic surgery in a little over a week, so I will be MIA for a short time..won't be attending meetings or support groups for awhile. I will be there Monday night in Dr. Tom's video class--that's my support meeting before surgery.... This week I will be attending two talks one with many of the centers in the area as Dr. Jacques talks about vitamin deficiencies and then friday with DR. Tom, speaking to personal trainers. I am so lucky-- I get to see him two days this week outside the hospital..
