8 1/2 Hours to go

WOW just a few short hours and I will be at the hospital. I am getting a little more nerveous and anxious as the time slowly goes by. We have our bagged packed and ready to go except for one item which I will pack as we leave for the hospital in the morning. We have to be up about 5 am so we can get ready and be at St Joes by 6:15 for me to be prepped for surgery. I just ask that you all keep Dee and Me in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow. Michael, This is my first time to reply to any messages. I don't have a profile set up yet (don't know how). I have been reading these for a couple of weeks now, except for Monday thru now. I had the RNY by Dr. Steiner on Tuesday (10/17/06) and as you already know Dr. Steiner is the BEST. All the nurses that I have talked to at the hospital told me if they had the surgery he is who they would have do it. You will do fine and you are in the best of hands with Dr. Steiner. I thought there was going to be more pain than I had but all I can say it was not pain but more soreness than pain. I have already lost 18 lbs. I certainly will be praying for you and thinking about you. Hope I can set up my profile very soon. Since I will be off work this week I will make the attempt. God Bless!!!!!!!

Hi Vickie and welcome. Wish I could help u with the profiles but the new styles have me confused as well. A nice lady on the main boards did mine earlier today. Congrats on the 18lbs..
