Update: Adams MRI results

We got the results from Adams MRI this morning at the chiropractor. We're waiting to hear the results from our pcp but he'll probably say the same thing. Its nothing too major or real serious. Its just something thats going to take time and patience to heal on Adams part. They said he had some bulging disc in his neck (I guess thats why he has a knot on his neck) he has some in his back. He has some muscle strain, no nerve damage exactly but the chiro dr said that he did give his body, nerves a jolt with the impact in the accident and that he will have some nerve pain, tingling. I'm thankful it wasn't nothing more serious and he doesn't seem to be in as much pain as he was. His appetite is back. The insurance guy is here looking at my car and says he'll get his report turned in soon. They've already said they would total it. I'm so confused on what to do about a attorney. Our family dr said to go ahead and talk to one, our chiro dr said its too soon, yes to get an attorney but wait. Ok, how long do u wait? Whats a reasonable amount for a 98 Dodge Neon to settle with? Can u tell I'm confused and don't know what I'm talking about? Thanks for all your help and input and prayers for Adam. Thank God he's not hurt worse than what he was. Hi Angela,im so to here about the wreck. I no he must be in quiet a bit of pain,you have alot on you right now,but just take a deep breathe and do one thing at a time. I would not settle no more that blue book value on the car. And on the injuries call a lawyer and if he is a good one you will not do any of the work and you no they (insurance)are responsible for the medical and pain and suffering. Just take care of your hubby and children and yourself,if ya need anything were all here...............vickie r.

Thanks Vickie, I know a attorney will get a percentage of what we get but it will be worth it to have a expert handling this and taking the weight off my shoulders right now. I've got an appt with Hughes and Coleman Thurs afternoon, they're supposed to be good. I hope,lol.

Angela, I am glad it is no worse than it is, but that a bulding disc is a horrible pain to have. Just be sure he gets the rest he needs and does what the dr's say and he should be fine then. Send prayers and well wishes your families way. Michael
