I posted a pic of my incision just now. If u want u can go to my profile and scroll down. I covered up the best I could. I'm still swollen but feel pretty good. I was only approved for a panni (skin removal only) and hernia repair. But it turns out my surgeon got in there and found that I didn't have a hernia, it was destentia. Where the muscles had pulled apart from obesity, childbirth, etc. He went on and did what he calls 3/4 of a full tummy tuck, relocated my belly button which he wasn't going to do and did more "undermining" than he would have with the panni. What ever he did it was more than he was supposed to and so far I'm happy. I do hope the swelling continues to go down. I'm wearing my compression garment faithfully lol. Hugs Ange

Wow Angela that looks painful. Is it worse than the wls itself? In the long run I am sure it will be worth the pain.

I had open rny and this is no where near as painful as that. This was a walk in the park compared to that. Its mostly a soreness instead of pain.

Angela, You had a really good surgeon; his work is impeccable. I was watching something on the Discovery channle about a woman that had a full body tuck, (something I'm interested in when it's time) and they made it look like the most painful thing in the world. It really scared the crap outta me! I'm glad to read that you're doing well and that the pain was minimal, because I hate pain so much even for my friends. I hope you're having a good day and that you didn't get flooded too much these last few storms! Take care-- Dee

Hey Dee, how are u? I'm fine, I think I have a small complication arising lol. I might have a seroma at the end of my incision. Its a tender, painful, knot. I'm waiting on my PS to call me back. We didn't get too flooded, we live on top of the Colesburg Mountain, to me its a moutain, and the town of Colesburg below us got it bad. We're ok though, we drove thru that stuff coming up from Western Ky on the parkway Friday night late and come by 2 tornados, or so the truckers on the CB were saying. I'm just so thankful we made it home.
