I HAVE A DATE...WOO HOO

I aan't believe it...But i have a Date...When I went in for my group class tonight, I found out that I have been aproved, and They scheduled my surgery...I had only been 10 days since everyting was submitted...I am so excited.... Surgery is scheduled for Oct. 16th at 10:00 a.m. I have not smoked for 2 weeks now so I am a quitter...and sooner than I ever expected...I will be a looser too.....:jump :jump :jump

I'm so glad to hear this. Good for you!! I'll be thinking of you on the 16th. Keep posting and let us know what all you are doing to prepare for surgery. Do you have to do any special diet during these weeks before? Just curious. Some people do, and some don't. (I can't wait till all of your family starts calling you a BIG LOSER... LOL I love to see you guys argue on here.... ha ha I have a family quite like yours and it's too bad that none of them are going through this with me. I think I will just pretend you guys are my family, cause I need encouragement, close knit... ha ha) Hugs Sharee

No problem Sharee just jump in anytime. We only live 5 min apart but this is a lot funner,(Mimi is this a word?) How far in the process are you? Dr Sonnanstine didn't make us follow any preop diet but we weren't aloud to go crazy. I can still remember my pre op visit. He told me to go home relax and go out to eat at my favorite restaurant a few days before surgery. I chose Out Back. It was wonderful but being A Loser feels a lot better than being miserably full. You know...If I can also get a date before Thanksgiving, we won't have to cook a big dinner. It will be a cheap year. Of course, I'll probably have to go to Louisville. Grrr!! Kim is having lap band surgery on 9/25. Just cross your fingers and hope that I stop breathing when I sleep. If it makes you feel any better, you are already a loser to me.

Hey I'm all for that. And by the way Mimi will be all over you for your spelling. I am also very happy and excited for you. Your surgery is 1year and 1 day after mine. So you can look thru my pictures and be able to gage close to where you will be. Now we just have to get Mimi approved. I am all for NO COOKING TURKEY dON'T GET ME WRONG I JUST HATE THE WORK AND FUSS AND MESS. I know we can shop the early bird stores all day Thanksgiving and you guys can do the Turkey 5K with me and then we can gear up for Friday at 4am. crazy people shopping. Amy you better be up to that. Her surgery is 1 year and 1 day BEFORE you not AFTER. I am over the spelling thing. It causes me way to much stress. If I can't understand what you are saying, I just skip that word and move on. Its alot easier that way. I am proud that you even recognized her spelling errors. You are getting better. I already told you, I am not walking 5K anywhere. That is just crazy!! I am up for the crazy people shopping though.
