I had a check up with my plastic surgeon today. So far I'm doing fine. He took the 2 drains out and that wasn't bad, just burned a little. I have to wear a binder around my tummy for 2 more weeks but thats better than those drains. I'm worn out so I probably won't do much but lay around tonight. I went with Adam to pay bills, get grocerys and walking all over Walmart about got me so I'm going to go find my recyliner. He also said no light house work, driving for at least another week. Its so hard for me to be idle when theres house work that needs to be done. My hubbys been good about helping but little things bug me. Things that I feel like I should be able to do. I just emptied and reloaded the dishwasher, nothing to major in that. I hate feeling lazy, lol, now that I have energy. Hope u get to feeling better soon. Did u go to your pcp for that cold?

Hey Angela, They won't give me any antibiotics unless I have a fever, go figure! I did call the surgery center and they told me that as long as I don't have a fever, the surgery should still be a go. I'm praying I was given correct information and that it will truly happen. I am a little nervous, because I feel like I have a lot of congestion. (but no fever) I'm taking musinex, echinecia tea, and suda-500. I'm hoping that will put a big damper on the congestion come Tuesday; we shall see. I'm so worried that they'll make me wait a few more weeks. Dee

I know how u feel. I was worried right up until time for my tummy tuck that morning. I woke up with drainage but it was fine. No fever. No cough till after surgery, ouch! U should be fine. Drink plenty of OJ and rest alot. Have u got someone to post an update on u after your surgery so we'll know how u r doing? Hugs Ange
