Hello there fellow Kentuckians

Hi there Guys and Girls, just wanted to drop a note saying I'm still around. Since my WLS goal is on hold till next year... hopefully, I have just been laying low and working. I renewed my professional LURKER license and I'm in swing with it. I have had a couple members email and ask how things are going.. thanks to those for the concern. NOthing much really going on, just trying to figure out what to do with my time. Whether to beg for OT from work or find a second job. I HAVE way to much freetime. Not more than a day or two goes by that I don't check in on OH and lurk. I enjoy seeing or reading about everyones successes and sympathize about their tribulations also. FAt is fat and we have all been there so I definately sympathize with you. Tony, you are doing great man, time for some new pics to show how much more you have lost. Angela congrats on the PS, looking good. TO all the members who I never had a chance to converse with yet who have gotten their approvals congrats. Brenda kudos for your PS approval. TO both Sarah's it was a pleasure meeting you at Dr. Sonnasteins group meetings. THe florence Sarah you are doing great, keep up with the success. YOu too Jane. Hopefully I will be on the board around Febuary or March to let ya'll in on my goodnews or have you commiserate on my badness... let's hope for the former. At the moment I am not sure if I will attend the conference in Lexington or not. I'm paid for just not sure if I will have the time or not. we'll see. Till then I am involking my lurker status and will check in from time to time. I . Thanks for being here for me and all the other members.

Hey Ryan, You go ahead and lurk all you want but your presence is greatly welcome. I hope all goes well. It will happen for you. All good things come to those that wait. Don't you hate all those cliches. Its sad but we wait all our lives. A friend of mine saw a before picture and she said, "I don't remember you being THAT BIG. Its amazing how a 300lb woman can be invisible. I was there but no one saw me at times. I still at times feel that way but not as often. You take care and let us know how you are doing. I am not going to the Oct. Conference. That is around my year and wedding anniversary. I hope to do something fun. Like go to the BOAT. I love the slots. Jane

Jane, You put that so well. The part about being 300 lbs and invisible. That's exactly how I feel!!! I was slim and beautiful all through school, and got just about any guy to look my way. But, I have slowly disappeared over the years, but take up more space. ha ha And, yea, Ryan should be a lurker. I am, and I haven't had any surgery yet. I'm still waiting. But, it's so fun here and you learn from other people's experiences too. So, I hope he WILL start hanging around more often. I like the BOAT too, but I haven't been for years. (Because of my weight. I don't go anywhere. Probably a good thing, because I don't have much money now, so I'd definitely be broke) Heck what was I saying ..... I might be a millionaire by now!!!! ha ha Anyway.... I'm still down in the dumps with this cold, sinus thing. Hope I feel better before they call me. Later, Sharee

I told you before that I for one did not want you to disappear!! we are all here as part of a process..yours is delayed, so what?? you are still part of us, so don't think for a moment we dont' want or need your input..ya know it's the middle of Sept. so what if you need to wait until the first of the year, it took me 6 months to get approved. Please post from time to time andlet us know how you are doing!! or at least email me dang it! Brenda

Hey Ryan! Good to have you back, I haven't been on very much lately but hopefully that will change soon. I definately need some new pics. I guess I've been kinda lazy. Keep on with the approval dude, you may hear good news sooner than you think. I used to sit and look at peoples profiles and just imagine what it was like to lose 150-200 pounds and I have to say it's the best feeling I've ever felt. YOU will get there just keep the faith. It would be cool to see ya at that Lexington event, I just hope I have the cash to make it there lol. I'm just going basically to meet some people from this board and the mens board, Hell if anything we could just go to Hooters and have a beer Take care man!

Did someone say Two Keys? I used to live there. Maybe just walk down the street and get a TallyHo burger. That is probably the reason I am visiting here now. To many TallyHo burgers and beer.

I hope that you continue to stay in de-lurking mode and join us when you can. I've been posting here for about 4 months and really like the folks around here. Amazing, I still feel like a newbie mostly, but I think that has something to do with being pre-op. I hope to see more of you-- Dee
