I made up a little poem. Where it came from, I don't know.... ha ha But here it is. 1, 2, I can't buckle my shoes; 3, 4, I can't fit through the door; 5, 6, My heart barely ticks; 7, 8, I've got a surgery date; 9, 10, I've got to be a loser to WIN! He he....How's that? Sharee

lol I love it. I thought about that Travis Tritt song Country Club and making up something about it along the lines of "I'm a member of the losers club, losing weight is what I love." But I'm not creative enough to finish lol.

Thanks! And, Wow! Your before and after picture look like two different people. You look great!! I can't wait my turn. I'm not going to post my pi****il the night before my surgery date, so it will be most accurate. And, I'm sort of camera shy anyhow.. ha ha There aren't very many pictures of me around in my family, or anywhere. So, anyone who has one from my weight issue era, better hang on to them. I might need a copy.....ha ha Sharee

My before picture was taken by my daughter the morning of my surgery. I also shied away from cameras. Now...I am a picture hog. Be sure to take plenty of pictures before and throughout the weight loss journey. When you hit a plateau, you can look back and rest assured that it IS working and that you are doing good. Also, I measured myself prior to surgery and I have lost almost as many inches as I have pounds. Will you be at the convention in October? I plan to be there. My friend and I have reservations at the Raddison. Carmen

I really haven't gotten involved that much yet. I figure I will do all of that along the way. I'm content posting here for the time being. I DO want to meet as many of you as I can though. There are some really wonderful people here!! I would only be blessed if I could meet them. I'm going to use the conventions as a way to keep motivated throughout my journey. I'm just waiting right now for the news of a surgery date. I don't want to get myself any more anxious beforehand. I am having a rough time with anxiety right now and the wait... haha If I started going to conventions now, I'd probably be sitting in the docs waiting room EVERY day bugging them.... ha ha But, I DO plan on attending some later on. Hugs Sharee
