now I have something to talk about
Well, as you all know I have been the one to sit here and give advice, good or bad I have tried to be there if I can...talking about being brave, be compliant..be patient..well now is your turn to tell me to practice what I preach..lol
I have been scheduled for plastic surgery, my insurance approved abdominoplasty and a breast reduction..I am having anxiety about the pain and the downtime..remember I was the one that went to work the day after gallbladder surgery..I am scared to death to sit around and do nothing for 4 weeks, I will go crazy or kill my husband whichever comes first..lol
so anyway..now it's your turn to tell me to be patient and it's quite alright to tell me to quit whining when I start getting cold feet in a few weeks.....I will take all the support I can get right now..
ok now ya all know..don't ask me the date or where..I am extremely nasty when i am in pain and don't like visitors..I promise to let you know somehow that I am doing well..maybe I can call Sarah or Jane and keep them informed so they can post...
it's not until the first of NOv..I wi**** was tomorrow, the wait is going to kill me for sure!!
have a great evening
Brenda

be patient and quit your whining. WELLL, you said it is alright. brenda, I am rethinking my choice not to go to the convention for reasons you know about. But, ya know, Charlie C. (whom I met in Daytona on vacation0, leilani and a couple of the other old timers are coming. I think Lynda S. and Nannette might come up with her. Charlie C is a barrel of fun and I bet leilani is too. I might come hang out with them. oh, and I noticed that DX is on the program.
Brenda... you know you can call me any time!!!
I am sure that cold feet are common but think of the perks from having the surgery!
I will say though that eventhough im fairly freshly post op... I am jealous that you are getting it done lol. I am so impatient I dont like to wait for anything! lol
Everything will be fine.... I hope that the pain is minimal and the recovery is quick!
This too shall pass...and with time, it will all be a distant memory. I know what you mean about the wait though; I'm going through a wee bit of that myself.
Be not nervous or afraid Brenda, you have so much life and love in you--you've really only just begun.
If you need anything, email me.
Take care--
Dee

Hey thanks ladies..I will sure try to relax while off, but I am not one of those sit around and do nothing kinda people..When Dr. Sonnanstine took my gallbladder out I went to work the very next day!! I don't know if I can stand 4 weeks at home, my husband is retired..I figure either he will kill me or I will do him in..lol
The surgery isn't scheduled until the first of Nov...I have some things going on in Oct..but I want to be healed up before the Dec. busy holiday fun..that should give me plenty of time.. I will keep ya'all posted!
Brenda
