Hi, Lisa! I'm pre-op so I can't really offer any advice but I do wish you the very best in your journey. I see Dr. Wheeler tomorrow and since my file is complete and I went to the educational meeting last Tuesday, he is supposedly going to give me a date!!! Hang tough, lady! You'll be fine and sooooooo happy as the weight starts coming off. Oh, and don't get discouraged by the lack of responses on the Kentucky forum. Most of the state forums are pretty deserted. I check here several times a day but spend most of my time on the main messageboard. There is so much good information there and a lot of fun stuff, too.

I had similar issues with foods right after surgery. It took approx. 2 weeks for me to get over my food addiction. What made things better on me with the foods I couldnt have .. was to occupy my time with something else. I am somewhat crafty so I made some blankets.... read some books... and drank water.....water fills me up now. Try to stay postive. It does get better. I wish you the best of luck! Sarah
