Going to the gastroenterologist today.

Good Morning Kentucky area. Hope everyone is having a Great day. I have a 2:30 appointment today to see my tummy doctor. A few years ago I had my gall bladder out. Also had to have my esphogus stretched due to habitual use of nexium and other GERD drugs... at least that's what I remember her telling me had causes the narrowing of the esphogus. I know she will want to repeat the upper scope. I wonder if she'll want to do a lower too... YIKES I'm going to ask her what she thinks about the Lap- Band. I know several years ago she wanted me to lose weight. I also have a hiatel hernia. So I'm hoping to get that fixed at the same time I get banded. I hope she will write a letter to my PCP supporting WLS. Talk to you later, Kathy W

Oh my Katherine, have fun!! I've had a sigmoid done a few years back and while the proceedure wasn't painful in itself, afterwards, it was misery! I hope they can figure out what is going on with you and that you're able to get your stuff under control. Good luck to you and let us know how it goes! Take care-- Dee
