Dr. Nighbert??

Anybody have any thoughts on this doctor? I am trying to set an appointment up with him for a revision. He is located in Lexington, St. Jo East hospital. Tracie

I love Dr.Neighbert............he is a good one.........i was referred to him after my doc left town...and all i can say is this has been a blessing......I also seen Dr.Steiner which is in with him,2 very good guys.................vickie r.

tracie, dr. Nighbert was a general surgeon for around thirty years before he started doing WLS. he still does other surgeries also. he has the reputation of being one of the best General surgeons in the country. As a retired R.N., I have taken care of many, many of his patientss and seen how well he does with them and the way they recover from whatever surgery. I also had an emergency whilee my ddoctor, Dr. Steiner, was out of town and Dr. Nighbert met me at the emergency room and took excellant care of me for a few days in the hospital.

I've heard good things about all the Dr.'s at St. Joe's East, so I'm sure you're in good hands. I am thinking about going with Dr. Steiner, but haven't really made any formal decision yet. Let us know what you think of Dr. Nightbert when you finally meet up with him. Good luck!
