Just wanted to say, You all make all the difference
Hi everyone. I'm addicted to reading all your posts and profiles. I'm at the very beginning of this journey.
It will be better after I finally go see the seminar and get them to send in an insurance request for surgery. Until then according to humana KPPA I will not know if it will be approved right away or if they will require anything more.
I guess Humana has different requirements for different policies. When we called they said it was different for each patient. Just depended on the case.
Anyway, I've been spending hours at a time here. I've read the good, bad and ugly. There is still so much more to read.
Wanted to say thank you for being so open and candid. You all do make a difference to me and I'm very sure to many many others.
Kathy

Kathy,
I am 4 months out and spent a lot of time right here before and after my Surgery.
The wonderful people on here help in so many ways. They become like close
family and friends. They listen with open ears and open hearts. And always remember, We have ALL been there! Hang in there and keep the faith!

Welcome Kathy, I hope you keep posting and reading..you can gain a lot of knowledge just by watching and learning what others have gone through..Just remember one important point..Every surgeons and dietician has thier own way of doing things, so once you have chosen your surgeon and the process begins..come here for support but definately do what they tell you to do and not get confused..
Also Kathy. Reseach centers and surgeons, ask alot of questions...this area has some of the best bariatric surgeons around.. You want one with great training and experience and a center with the best follow-up program. just as anything else you want a program that truly fits like a glove..you need to feel comfortable and confident . If not your after care will be lacking..
Anything I can do help you out, let me know
Good luck....
Brenda
