Protein and exercise

I have a question. I read somewhere that we should NOT exercise just after drinking our protein. However, since water is making me so sick that I can't drink it when I exercise, I'm having real trouble trying to exercise much at all. My question is, can we drink the ProStat (it's not milky, creamy or thick in any way) in sf KoolAid while walking or working out at the gym? I've NEVER tried to drink KoolAid while working out but it's something I can drink and it doesn't hurt my intestines or make me sick and/or weak. Water does all of that. I've actually had to stop and just put my head down at times when I drink water, working out or not. I'm thinking, sf KoolAid is just calorie-less, carb-less flavoring that will let me drink. Would you all agree? Oh, if I can add the protein, I "kill two birds with one stone". If not, do you think I could still do the sf KoolAid without the protein? I sure hate having to add flavoring to my water. AND... why can I drink sf KoolAid (which truly is only flavoring) and no****er? I just can't figure this one out. Matter of fact, I can drink ANYTHING (non-carbonated and sf, of course) and it doesn't hurt or make me sick... only water. I have to figure something out to get fluids while exercising or I'm simply not going to be able to exercise enough to make a difference. My mouth gets so dry I can hardly swallow and it gets difficult to take a breath in because of the dry throat. Know what I mean? Gale

I cant drink plain water either, I have to put crystal light in it, well I really use the walmart brand, it cost less.
