TT & Laser Bra Questions

Has anyone here had experience with either Dr. Schantz or Dr. Waldman in Lexington, KY?? I am about 15 lbs from my goal and am considering surgery. Do they take Humana?

Hi Rhonda, I have met and spoken to Dr. Schantz personally, very nice guy..but I do know he is out of network and doesn't take insurance (as are most plastic docs) there are a select few that will take it...I know of one in Cincinnati, Dr. Butterfield. What they will do is submit your insurance for you..insurance will pay anesthesia and the hospital (if they agree to)...but you must pay cash up front to the surgeon. If your insurance did approve the surgery then they will pay you direct. But it's never as much as the original charge..I think I will end up paying about 2,000.00 out of pocket when all is said and done..Mine has been submitted but I havn't heard yet..so who knows! I am seeing a surgeon in Cinci that is also out of network...Most plastic surgeons charge a very small fee for your consultation..I would suggest making an appt with Dr. Schantz and see what he has to say. all you have to lose is the few dollars for that appt. He is such a sweet guy and a cutie too.. Brenda
