Hello ...help me

I'm from Paducah, Ky and I am trying to get all my paperwork together..which I think I do but I'm waiting for a call from Cenntennial Center for Treatment of Obesity. they are located in Nashville, Tn..I am going to have the lap band surgery....so if you have any suggestions for me...Please do email...I was wondering if I had to see a nutritionst or did you or what did you do? I am getting nervous about the surgery but I do want to get my body weight under control. I have lupus, so getting my doctors to okay the surgery was a job in it self...also my immune system is gone..I can walk by a cold and it jumps on me..then I have a terrible time getting rid of it...but I am looking forward and not backward.. If anyone has had lap band surgery or know of someone(friends)..email me..just seeing if they lost weight and what you had to do the first month as far as sipping, proteins, and ecta. Pam

Hi...I'd like to suggest you post also to the lap band forum here at obesityhelp - it's a very active and friendly board and I'm sure you'll get a lot of responses to your questions. You can find it by clicking the forums tab up top and then choose Lap Band from the Surgery Types Forums list. Best of luck in your endeavors!
