Approved for surgery!

I got the official word today: I'm approved for surgery! I submitted the last of my paperwork to Bluegrass Bariatrics in Georgetown on Monday, and it was faxed to Humana Tuesday morning. It took only 48 hours to get my answer! I appreciate the careful attention Jennifer Morris (the insurance coordinator at Georgetown) paid to my paperwork. She told me exactly what to submit, and I gathered the letters, reports, and forms she asked for. Her advice was perfect! I'm waiting now to get my appointment scheduled for the all-day appointment and consult with the surgeon. It's really going to happen!! It's worth it to jump through the hoops, dot the I's, and cross the T's. I'm so relieved! Now I can stop worrying about insurance approval and start getting nervous about the surgery itself! Kathy

Maybe I should go work where you do or is the insurance under your husband... If so then maybe I should go work there......Still waiting on HR's interpretation of the SPD. Congrats once again Kathy keep a spot warmed up for me on the loser's bench. I will make it there....someday@!
