Tummy tuck post op care?

I am curious about what it might be like post op from a tummy tuck? I saw the plastic surgeon March 29 and have forgotten most of what he told me then, lol. I had to submit for approval, got denied for it, had to do 3 months of going to my pcp to get documentation on belly button rash, hernia, did that resubmitting for tummy tuck next week. (They told me they'd approve it within 2 weeks now that I have done what they wanted, lol) The plastic surgeon did say he would cut along my bikini line from one "love handle" to the other and somehow up both sides. I have a open gastric bypass scar and he said after my tummy tuck it would be thinner and shorter. Whatever that means. The insurance called what I'm getting a panni (don't know how to spell it, ) and I asked them if that was the full tummy tuck and they said yes. From what you've been thru, if u have had one, how long were your in the hospital for the tummy tuck and how long was the recovery period till u were able to start working out again? I ordered my chicometrics dvd today and can't wait to get started on that! Any and all info appreciated... Hugs and have a fabulous afternoon...
