Hi Jessica...not sure which surgery you are having, but as a gastric bypass patient, we no longer can or should tolerate sugar. So please do not use recipies such as this after your surgery or you will surely become very ill..with what is called "dumping" There are some recipie books on the market and many put together by centers around the area that gives us information on conversion from sugar to sugar substitues. Perhaps someone reading this thread can chime in if they are familiar with such recipe books.. I for one would love to have one as I collect them anyway... You know, you have given me a great idea here, how about some of us veterans start a thread for WLS friendly recipies..that way you can copy them and start your own collection. And it gives us a recipe exchange..what fun would that be? Good luck with your upcoming surgery!! Brenda
