Surgeons in Louisville who do lap RNY

Who would you recommend? Who would you steer clear of?

My doctor is: Jeffrey Allen, M.D. 601 South Floyd Street,Suite 700, Louisville, KY 40202 Phone: (502) 583-8303 I know that everyone thinks theirs is the best, but I truly do. I will be having surgery on the 11th and so I don't know post op, but I feel very safe in his hands and know that he has many many lap band surgerys behind him. He seems to be pretty laid back and I like that. Dr. Rodregus (not sure how to spell it) is with him and I am told he is excellent also. They are with University Surgical Assoc. Hope you find one that fits your needs. - Vicki

I have been told by other surgeons that Dr. Allen is the best in the Louisville area for lapband.

I had the opportunity to meet and attend some lectures by Dr. Jeff Allen while in San Francisco at the annual ASBS conference. He is very knowledgeable and very pleasant. As a nurse, the thing that impressed me most, is that he complimented his staff over and over while at the conference. If anyone out there is from his office, you would be proud to know he thinks highly of his staff. I hear nothing but great things about his surgical skill and patient outcomes.
