3 year anniversary

I have been so busy with my daughter, I just realized that on the 18th it had been 3 yrs. since my WLS.. I am so glad I had it done..I found old pics of me, one day when I have time I will post them..wowsker, they were me at my heaviest..307..I had no idea these pics existed..as I always hid from the camera.. Well I am going to go take a shower..hubby and I just got back from my daughters house..I got more paint on me than I did on the walls..LOL have a wonderful day Brenda

Three years out? You look fantastic. I hope I have good results with mine. I see so many success stories here. You must be so proud of what you've accomplished in the last three years. Great job keeping up with YOU! Gale

Thank you all....it does take some work but the only bit of advice I can give anyone starting out...Do it right from day one. I had someone I met right after surgery who inspired me..she was young and had lost 250 lbs..I would watch her eat and work at using her tool..I decided I wanted to be as successful as her. She and I still keep in touch, she will always be my hero!!

How ironic Jane I went swimming today also. Now I'm sporting a sunburn.GRRRRRRR. Even with three applications of suntan lotion. Fairskin sucks. I might as well use butter for all the good tanning lotion does. OKay enough of that..... HI Brenda! How you doing now? Couple more weeks and your baby gets married. Who's more nervous? YEs I got your email the other day just haven't responded yet. MOnday I see Dr. West-Smith. Gee I get to pay someone to tell me I'm immature and crazy... Oops I paid a lot of money for this I guess that means I'm psychotic. She doesn't have an accent; does she? Thats all I need for her to walk in there and say in an Austrian accent "tell me about your Mother" I'll make one of those Daffy Duck exit holes in the wall. How's your Dad doing? Hey Ryan, you are moving right along..you will like Dr. West-Smith, or Dr. Lisa I like to call her..and arn't we all just a weeee psychotic? I know I am and I am proud of it!!! LOL anyway...dad has had a set back, he had a stroke while driving two weeks ago, but he is doing better now..no more driving of course.!! Noel gets married on July 15th..we just moved her in her new house...she called a bit ago to inform me I am taking care of her skunk this weekend while she is away with friends...and yes you heard me right, her pet is a SKUNK!!!.... she is kinda cute actually, but I have never taken care of her so she isn't going to like me..hopefully she just hides and doesn't try to bite me...she can't spray as she had her stinky thingy taken out when she was a little baby..lol k I am off to bed, I am sooo tired. Hey Ryan, Where are you at in the process? Any idea of dates yet? Let me know. It has made such a big diffrence in my life. I wish I would have done it sooner. I can not say enough about Dr. Tom. Good luck and just think where you will be this time next year. Jane Cahill 296/170/150
