Pam, Just wanted to let you know that I had LAP-LYN 04/25/06 and Dr. Geller was AWESOME!!! I had never had any type of surgery before and was scared to death. When I talked to Cheryl at his office regarding some of my concerns, she put all my fears to ease. I had no pain and could not have been in better hands. He is such a gentle soul and really cares about his patients. I have had a couple of minor setbacks, no fault of Dr. Geller, and he has been on top of things. I was going to have this surgery 5 years ago performed by Dr. Shina and was 2 weeks away from my surgery my insurance at my job changed and did not cover the surgery. When I changed jobs last year and my new insurance did cover the procedure, I was going to have Dr. Shina perform the surgery. My friend, who is a nurse at Suburban did some checking around and talked to people at the hospital, they all suggested that I have Dr. Geller perform my surgery. Best decision I ever made. He and his office staff are extremely busy and sometimes it takes awhile to have a message returned or test scheduled, but that should not deter you from choosing him. You will be in great hands!!!!!! If you have any questions you can email me at [email protected]

Dr. Geller was a great doctor, however, his office staff was horrible. They did not do anything they said they did and I had to call to get things sent that never got there. They tried to blame this person and that. I have called with problems and they said they would call back, never heard from them (this is post op). Had a bad hospital experience as well, but the customer service rep. got back with me and was very apologetic. I also drive 2 hours to the see Dr. Geller, my first follow up I waited 3 hours to see him. He is very nice and knowledgable, but office staff and timeliness is not so hot.
