dropped in to say hello !!

hey folks..I have had so much going on lately, I havn't had time to post. My daughter is getting married July 15th, so it's been non stop running and planning.. this past weekend my son flew in to take the family to a Reds game..( a loser unfortunately) then yesterday I was pretty much forced into seeing a surgeon about my hernia..I have a huge one from my open RNY. I have had pain from time to time but it's getting worse. I can barely touch the largest area and it hits my waist line so my button on slacks goes right over it, talk about uncomfortable. Anyway, looks like I will have surgery shortly...I dread it but will be happy to have it over with, mind you I am seeing a plastic surgeon (Kurtis Martin) here in Cinci..he is awesome!! With the hernia fix I hope a Tummy tuck is approved with it.. maybe a little nip and tuck other places as well .. This weekend is my daughters wedding shower, it started out at a rented condo party room but got so big we moved it here to the house...both sides of the family will be here. getting ready for that has been a lot of work as well..we have had so much to do on the outside not to mention finishing up the spring cleaning. everything has to be perfect!! she is getting nervous/anxious..as well as very emotional..Rob is in Iraq so planning this entire thing without him is hard for her,..We are getting ready to leave now for Ft. Knox to pick up his newest uniform as well as all ribbons ...my brother is a master chief in the airforce so he is going with us to make sure we have all that we need. This whole thing will be bitter sweet as Rob will only be home for 10 days for the wedding, then back to Iraq for 6 more months. I am also back to vigerous exercising at Gold's gym..playiing softball and involved in an event with habitat for humanity..sometimes I wonder where all this energy comes from? lol Well I hope ya'all have a great week...take care. Brenda, OMG, we are at Ft. Knox!!!!! We live in E-Town actually, but DH is Active Duty, and is stationed here at Knox! We are about 20 minutes from there. When are you coming? How long will you be here? Let me know OK. Karly

Hi karly..I just got back from there...I left just a few minutes after I typed that note.... We purchased the dress uniform and all the goodies that go on it... it was a nice ride with my brother and daughter. if I get back down there I will have to let you know.. Brenda

Brenda it sounds crazy in your life. I hope everything goes well. Good luck with your surgery. I am watching 6 kids this summer 2 are mine and 4 are my sisters. I need drugs. Hey ya Jane..so glad you said hello..I got a note from Sarah today.. I just took on a new project today as If I have enough time..lol I am now working as a PR person for a corporation that does events..etc. I am very excited about it.. I told her I would start after my daughters wedding but just got off the phone with someone who wants to book a conferenece for next summer!! soooo guess I won't wait after all..lol have fun with the kids..I don't think I have that much energy yet!! HI Brenda and Jane What's going on Jane? Your picture looks good. I went to the first nutrition class wednsday. Time to read my manual and wait for my shrink visit with Dr. West-Smith. If it would quit raining everyother day I might mow the lawn as it is starting to get as shaggy as my goattee.

Hey, I am so glad you got started on all your classes..now remmeber when you go into the group classes I would love to attend some of them with you, I have a blast in there esp the one Dr. Sonnanstine runs himself.. talk to you soon
