I have a ?
I spoke with the WLC this morning and found out that I actually have one more appt to keep which is tomorrow. I don't know HOW I forgot that. I will meet with the doctors and attend "WLS Boot Camp". They are also going to do labs again.
I just had labs done last Tuesday, one week ago today. I asked why I had to do them again and was told that they just wanted to check them again or something like that. While I was on the phone I heard the woman ask the PA if I actually had to repeat them since it had been only a week ago. She obviously said yes. I then asked if they were repeating ALL the labs and she said they were going to do CBC and CMP.
My question is, why would they repeat these one week later? Could there be a problem? I got a copy of the lab work and all my numbers were in the "normal" range that was on the right side of the page except my cholesterol which was 206. Now I'm wondering if there's a problem there.
I know none of you can diagnose me of course or tell me definite sure. But can anyone tell me if this is common practice... to have labs done a week apart BEFORE WLS?

Scratch this question. I went to WebMD and looked up my results and everything seems to be okay other than my Cholesterol but I'm working on that with my low-carb eating already so hopefully that will go down soon. I'm not eating fried foods at all other than turkey burger and Spam. Spam is SO good with eggs.
