New to the Board..

Good evening to all. I am new to the board and have researched Bariatric Surgery for 5 years and now starting the journey. I have a meeting with the St. Joe, Lexington in June and wondering if anyone would have any ideas on this matter such as surgeons and anything and everything anyone can help with. I also own my own company so I need to find insurance that will cover this. Need info asap.... Thank you so much, Angela Colin

any one of the surgeons you choose at St. Joe will be great for you. Dr. Steiner did mne and I love him to death. the other two surgeons have been weel known general surgeons for twenty five or thirty years before they started doing the bypass. as a retired nurse, I have cared for many of heir patients. You will be in good hands.

Hi Angela! I am new to the board too. I will be at St. Joseph's June 12 for the seminar, I hope to meet you then. I am like you I have really searched and thought about this step for over a year now. I will be at the Seminar on the following Monday, I believe it is the 19th. My son's birthday is the 12th and he will be 14. Hopefully we can still keep in touch and hopefully we will be on the same track. Right now I am trying to find a insurance coverage to cover this surgery but it doesn't seem like I will find it.
