i go to first diet class on the 19th of june but im scared ihave not started yet this month and am not sure if it is were iam stressed or nervous what should i do do the surgeons take pregnany test anyway before surgery if so how early before or do they do it day before

I had blood work done the day before including a pregency test. It's problay nerves but you could take an EPT to put your mind at ease.

My surgery is 7 days out and I haven't had a pregnancy test yet but just had my period around the 18th. They did ask last date. I never even considered they were asking due to possible pregnancy. I'm not suppose to be able to have anymore anyway. My tubal was listed on my papers as one of my surgeries too. I hope it turns out how you want it. The doctors at the St. Joe's. clinic did say that WLS seems to make women more fertile and that we need to be VERY careful during our first year out. Gale
