I went jogging today.
Well, I was so sure of myself and so ****y...Boy, did I ever learn a huge lesson this morning. I have started doing 40 mins on my gazelle and have been running sprints some in the evenings. Today my younger brother was here and I thought well, I have been wanting to start running and since he runs, he can run with me today. I suck at running, jogging. I ran down the the cul de sac (sp?) and walked for a little bit then ran a little more. I guess I thought I could jump right into running but that isn't happening lol. I guess u gotta start slow. I will work up to jogging without any walking though. Its something that I want to do and I know I can do it. I have got to tone my thighs, they look hideous...
Honestly and since I know Dr Geller reads the post sometimes I probably shouldn't admit this (although he's not my Dr) I just started using the gazelle 2 weeks ago. I didn't exercise much until I hit Dr Shinas goal. I should have. But my insurance co said they were going to pay for "all" my plastics and I thought, well, if they are paying for the arms, breast lift, thigh lift and tummy tuck I will just wait till I start working out, but it turns out they are only paying for a tummy tuck. So I am left with the arms and thighs to tone myself. I do like my gazelle. It took a few times to get used to it and once again, honestly, if I had it to do over again I would probably buy a treadmill. My hubbys factory has us a membership at Etown Swim and Fitness and I really need to start back there. I used to go all the time last summer and need to start going again. Since its only been 2 weeks of using the gazelle every day I can't tell much of a difference except I feel more energetic. Exercise is a natural antidepressant, lol. I love walking though so a treadmill would have been better for me personally. Hope this helps and I haven't confused u.

Have u had surgery yet? I went to read your profile and there was nothing there.

No not yet. I am fighting the insurance demons at the moment. Well right now I'm not sure if it's insurance demons or the morons who make my companies exclusions. Lets just say that in our handbook under insurance it states corrective weight solutions (ie surgery) are allowed with comorbidities. I have two; diabetes and sleep apnea.
I'll have to update my profile tonight.

How many co morbs do they require? Sounds like u should meet their criteria. If u want email me sometime, I know of a few things u can do to help yourself get approved. Well, I would go into it on here but its alot so if u want u can email me. I don't mean that in a bad way either. Adam, my hubby, is fine with me talking to people on here about surgery and thats all I mean. If u or anyone on here needed help, advice I would love to help in any way I can cause I want everyone who wants, needs this surgery to have it. Its been like a dream come true for me. I have been overweight all my life, just dreaming of being slim and this surgery, tool, has made it possible. I have to take my father in law for a cpap test but will be back later. Email me anytime u want and if I can help with some of the stuff I had to do for our insurance, then great. I know these insurance co's can be a pain. Mine made me jump thru hoops from Oct till they approved me in January. I am doing their hoops right now for my tummy tuck lol.
