That's awesome! Keep writing them! I am about to do another round! :D Governor Sebelius and the state legislature is pushing for some major health care initiatives, hopefully we can all break these chains next year! But we have to keep writing! She replied to me and said she sent my letter to people who deal with the state insurance. Sydney Carlin has also been a great help! Thanks for sharing. Chad

Topic: RE: Tell me about what I should expect in a psych eval?
I'm in Great Bend. My psych eval starts this week. It is $250 and I have to use a psychiatrist at The Center here. My first visit is a paper test they said will take about 2 hours. The next one is an interview. They will fax my results to my surgeon and they have been gathering the info to give the insurance company. Hope that helps.

Topic: Tell me about what I should expect in a psych eval?
I am in the process of getting the needed evals before my surgeon will submit to my insurance company. Can anyone give me some idea of what I should expect from a psych eval. Did you use a psychologist or a psychiatrist? Did you submit a report to your insurance or just physicians notes? Did you have just one visit or is it required to have more than one? What about price...one dr quoted $800.00 and another quoted $200.00. Any info will help. Thanks!

Can't help with the DS. But I too am a Dr. K. patient. I had gastric bypass May 11. I have lost 118 pounds. Have about 27 more to go. I am very happy with the Dr. and the clinic.

I am a UP Railroad wife. We have UHC (United Health Care Options PPO) through them and they are great. I was just approved (in about 1 week) for RNY.

I was just informed that no matter what coventry does not cover WLS even if it is deemed medically necessary and you can not appeal it.
