What are you having done next? I actually used the Residency Program at KU Med Center in KC. I am thrilled with my results!

Anyone has a positive experience they could share. I have used a dr in Wichita and am planning more surgery for Jan but continue to question if he is the best option. Have had stomach and arms done so far. Would appreciate anyones input.

I am a 3 year post-op patient of Dr. Hoehn and think the world of him. He is a very straight forward type of doctor and very busy. So I suggest you have your questions ready when you have your consults with him. He is very caring and understanding. Also extremely well respected by the medical community. He has a wonderful P.A. which you will see often for your after care and if you are hospitalized immediately following surgery. The whole practice is very supportive and they have an excellent after care program which is important.
Just in case anyone is just starting this process and reading this, the 6 month per-op dieting you refer to... that is a requirement made by some insurance policies NOT the Bariatric Center of KC or Dr. Hoehn.
If I can answer any questions or concerns please feel free to send me a private message or ask here.
Good Luck with your WLS journey it has been a wonderful experience for me.

Just curious of others experiences with Dr. Hoen. I'm on month 5 of 6, so the days are drawing near.
