Hi Folks. I am new here :wave:

My name is Colleen and I have my surgery date for June 1. I look forward to meeting you all and hopefully gain lots of knowledge and support from you. I am having my surgery through Tall Grass in Topeka. Anyone on here have there surgery there? I am from Wichita though. Lots of questions but will ask them as I go. Hi Alice. Very pleased to meet you! My surgeon at Tall Grass is Dr. Hamilton. I have met him once. Seems nice. He has also had the surgery (last August) so he is able to know both sides of the surgery. Who was your surgeon?

wow you are doing great! wish I was so into the exercise...I did swim my mile last night and I will swim it again today...but I just can't seem to get teh walking in....I hate doing it alone is my problem. I am hoping now that hubby is home this will change. Mimi

Hi Tiffany and thanks for the warm welcome! I am glad to have the board too. I really am getting anxious about the surgery. By that I mean nervous, scared, excited, doubtful, and a million other emotions that I cannot even express. I am sure that is not uncommon. With every bite of food I eat, I think will I be able to eat this after surgery? I am also worried about the 10 day liquid diet pre-op. That is really going to be tough because I still have to cook for my family. Any suggestions for coping? Thanks!
