CIGNA Health Care in Kansas

Does anyone out there from Kansas (or the rest of the country) know if CIGNA Healthcare will cover weight loss surgery. I've been offered a wonderful, new job with an established company that's expanding. However, I'm also right in the middle of trying to get WLS done. One of my big considerations for taking this new job is if the new health insurance company will cover the surgery. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you call Cigna and ask them? Sometimes it also depends on your employer and what they stipulate they will support in their coverage. Check with the benefits administrator at your new job. Hopefully they can tell you if its part of the plan already. Good luck!! ~Tiffany
