vocational rehab is paying for my surgery. after years of exclusions with several insurances, i applied at my local srs office for vocational rehab to help me, and they did. i'm currently going through pre-procedure stuff (psych eval, consultation, pre-op testing, etc.) and the office i'm working with (liv-lite in junction city) is very supportive in helping me along. i'll keep everybody posted! don't give up hope!

Hi Pam, That is good news for you! Voc. Rehab. will pay for the surgery but only if it is a factor for you being disabled, unemployed or unemployable. If Obesity isn't your primary disability, I don't think it can be done. At least that is my understanding. If you know something else please, please share. Thanks!
