Anyone with $120.00 can file a case against anyone else and it would show up. However, you have the right to go to the Courthouse and request to read the file if you really want to. I would also suggest going on the KS Licensing Board website (do a Google search). You would be shocked all of the people you can find on the Johnson County Website. Yes, even I am on the site!! LOL. The most important thing to do is exactly what you are doing. ASK EVERYBODY YOU MEET! This is the best way to make an informed decision. Being in the business, I do not trust most databases. It is only a small part of what I did when I selected my Dr. of choice. Also, if you are interested, you can check "Casenet" 16 Circuit Court of MO. Dr. Lopez was my surgeon and I would recommend him anytime. I've had absolutely no complications and I think that is because of his skill level. He was very thorough with me, he is a great patient advocate with the insurance companies, and overall I think he knows his stuff. Hope that helps! ~Tiffany
