Newbie

Hello all I'm new here, just doing a little research on wls....ok i lied i've been doing alot of research on wls! lol...I have medicare and am really depressed that there isn't a hospital close enough for me. I have blood clots and lymphedema and i'm not sure if I can even have the surgery yet or not. If anyone has any advice all would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi April, welcome to OH Kansas. We are not a very active group. There are alot of disappointed folks with Medicare right now. The best advice is to hang in there and not to give up hope.

Hello April in Kansas; good morning. welcome. I just had my srugery 4/3/06 per Dr. Phillip Hornbostel, in Sedalia, M0. He is great, as well as the office staff. Dr. Hornbostel is a facility of excellence and they do take medicare/medicaid. It is one hr away, but give them a call if you are interested. 1-660-827-0423 that is his office. the hospital he uses if Bothwell regional # 1-660-826-8833.
