Hey Mary...The best thing you can do is suround yourself with positive people and people that have been there and done that!!! We have a support group in Hutch that you can attend and we always carpool up to J.C. for the meetings there. You've pick a wonderful program by the way!!! Dr's Bollman and Narcisso are just GREAT!!! The staff is FANTASTIC and I just can't tell you how much I LOVE Pam and Patty. Please feel free to e-mail me if you want more info on the support group or if you have ANY questions. Hi Mary, I know how you are feeling, this is a big step. {hug} I have not had the surgery yet, but have researched it and was about to get on the table when it was cancelled....but that was me. You will be fine, when you feel scared, call Pam or Patty at livlite, they are wonderful. I use to call almost daily...I'm not kidding, daily They guide you through the insurance process and just make it all so wonderful and warm. The Nutritionist is also very nice as is Barbara the Psychologist. Lastly but certainly not least, I have to say, Dr's Bollman and Narcisso are top of the line doctors! They come to all the support group meetings, perform their surgeries together as a team, and answer questions as do Pam, Patty, Linda, Barbara and the doctors nurse, Carla and other staff after a full day of working at the office at a non-stop pace. So, they really care. I don't know how far you are from Junction City, I am in Manhattan and if you haven't been and can get there go to a support group meeting. I think it is on the second Tuesday of every month but check with Pam or Patty about that, you will feel the warmth from the staff and the pre and post opts. I have a problem with anxiety and sat in the corner and suddenly heard my mouth opening and it didn't shut up They were so patient with me and believe me, when I get going all my nervousness comes flowing out in questions as you can see by my lengthy post Anyway, no rush, take your time, and talk and ask every question you can think of, and soon, you will be like me, in the sprinter's position...when they say its time, cooooome oooooon dooooown! I am going to leap on the table and prep myself. I was scared too {hug} I hope this helps some. Feel free to e-mail me if you want to talk. *~In His care*~*~*dream*~

Hi Mary, Nervous is normal. The docs at Liv Lite are great, and Patty and Pam will lead you in the right direction. The hospital staff are great. You have nothing to worry about.
