KS Support group(s)?

Are there any support groups close to Wichita, Ks? I have been fluctuating alot and have had a hard time sticking to my diet even though I have had my fill and I vomit when I eat too much it hasnt stopped me much! lol But I really would like to know if there was something closer than Junction City it would be nice to met others who are going through or have gone through this so we can chat more one on one I think it would help a great deal! Hi Constance and Danielle - I have been trying for some time to get a support group started in Wichita and just can't seem to get everyone together at the same time. I live near Wichita and an interested in going to a support group as well. I feel like I really need that to help me. I am about 10 weeks post op. I had my surgery out of state and would very much like to go to a group in Wichita. I did find one person helpful when I was on my search. I called Wesley Hosp. and talked to the lady who in in charge of bariatric surgery. If you get a group together please let me know. THANKS

HI... I started the support group in Hutch...It's th 4th Thursday of every month at the Hutchinson Hospital, 1st floor(basement) Room C, 6:30ish. We have members from several different surgeons and ANYONE is welcome...There are people with the Lap Band and differnt forms of RNY so lots of different experiences. I think the farthest out we go is 4yrs so far. Please feel free to e-mail me if you need more info. We also carpool up to J.C. if you ever want to go there as well!!! Deanna K
