Anyone going through Live Lite (Junction City)
Hi everyone
I have been researching places here in Kansas to have my WLS. I had previously looked into Tulsa, OK, and found that it wouldn't work for me there due to financing. Anyway, I have visited with Pam at Live Lite and find her to be wonderful. I'm planning on attending the WLS seminar on March 14th, and would love to hear from anyone that has had or is going to have their WLS in Junction City.
Thank You
Theresa
Hi Theresa,
I had my surgery last June in Junction. I did my research also, and I decided on LivLite for many reasons such as how many surgeries that they had done, there success rates, and the whole pkg deal w/group therapy, support, nurtritionist and so much more. They are awesome! If you have any more questions feel free to email me.

Theresa,
I think Pam is a very compassionate person. I just talked to her last week, and I have actually been approved through vocational rehab. I live in Lansing, Kansas, so I don't know if I'll attend the March 14th meeting. I'm gonna try, though. I hope things do move quickly for you and every thing goes okay. My next step is to see a psych doctor named Barbara Pearson?? Congratulations on your god daughter! Good luck on your surgery!!
Hi Theresa,
I had my surgury in Junction city a year ago last November. They, the surgeons, the hospital staff, and Pam and Patty at LivLite are the best. I cannot tell you what wonderful care I had at the hospital. I would return there in a flash. The surgeons are top rate, and have more experience in Baratric surgury than anyone else in the state. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me. I will be at the meeting next week too.

Yep, I'm getting mine done through JC too... just had my nutritional consult today... just two more steps to the final approval and all the fun stuff! I've been looking into WLS since around August of '04, and after alot of digging, decided that JC is the place to do it. I've been to several of the meetings and called them countless times (especially when it took so long to get approval, had to switch insurance companies)... and they treat me like a long lost friend every time.
I can't wait for the next steps... my best friend has actually applied herself after going to the consult as well... and she's one of the world's biggest skeptics. They definitely don't drag their feet and I just really enjoy visiting with them. No question is too simple or complex, if they don't know the answer (which is very rare), they'll find an answer. They've done well over 600 surgeries now, and I feel really good going with them for my procedure.
I too will be there on the 14th, cya there!
