Pain in lower stomach, help!

Hi everyone, I just had open RNY on the 4th and have been doing alright. The last two days I have started experiencing sharp pains in the lower left part of my stomach. I have an appointment with my surgeon later today and plan to ask him about them but I was wondering if anyone had gone through this. And what it was. I am a little concerned. The last thing I want is to go back into the hospital. Thanks, Robin

I don't come in here often anymore, but thought I would see if you found out the problem? I am a lttle over a year out, and had sharp pains on my left side last weekend. Turned out to be a kidney stone. Hope you are feeling better.

Thanks for asking Joan, My surgeon said they were probably just gas pains. They went away after a few days. I've never had gas pains like that before. It was a little scary for a while. But thankfully, all is better now. Thanks again, Robin W
