Has anyone seen Leigh Alexander?

I have an appointment with her for my Psych evaluation. I picked her off the list for no real reason. I am a pre-op bandster. Has anyone used Leigh Alexander for their evaluation? If so, did you like her? Thanks. Marty

Sorry, Marty, no I haven't. I picked Dr. Abbott for my psych evaluation. She is okay but I am not very happy that she did not get done with my evaluation in 2 visits. She extended it to a third visit and I am having to wait 3 1/2 weeks well, now it is 2 1/2 weeks before I can get in. They are suppose to call me if any cancellations, but I have yet to hear from them. I guess my learning experience would be answer with as few words as you can, so they don't drag it out. I am sorry to hear that. I am not going to have my surgery until February after I take early retirement in January and I can hardly stand the wait. I can't imagine how it must be for you. Let's hope and pray that this visit is your last. Dr. Dunshee is doing my surgery. I am having the lapband.

It really hasn't been a real long wait, but I just get frustrated with Dr.s when they tell you one thing and then it turns out different. It's not like I had any issues and she said I was a good candidate for the surgery but she would not release me till I came back one more time. Dr. Berntsen is doing my surgery. I have known her for a long time. Dr. Dunshee seems awful nice also. He is the one that gave the presentation when I went. I thought about the lapband at first, but then decided to do the lap RNY. I know people who have had both surgeries and no serious complaints out of any of them. Your timing will probably be about right, by the time everything gets approved. Good luck. Mickey
